If someone wants to buy a 905 just let them buy it. I'm sure there are people who enjoy buying gadgets knowing full well that they can not use them and if other people are tricked into buying the phones believing they will someday work, why should it bother anyone ? I thought it was kind of funny yet interesting to see the 905 for sale here and on eBay. LL- |

as for the usability of this phone, i will say it's gonna be zero unless you live in japan... i mean, i see that it should at least take some modification to the firmware before it can be use even in the same kind of 3G network. kind of like the difference between vodafone KK and vodafone europe, you can't use a japan 903 and expect it to work even tho they are the same network... wait, let me just be sure, did i say it right? i always thought japan and europe vodafone use the same network~ anybody willing to verify that for me? so, the fact comes to whether unlockers are willing to forge that much time and energy into changing the firmware of the 905 just to make it work in a small market where the exact same 3G network is avalible like the japan one~ |

I don't even like this phone... and my friend keeps on insisting she get it! Telling her it has no gsm roaming if she leaves Japan doesn't seem to help either.. she just tells me she will stay in one place and won't roam around. GRRR I want to laugh, but it will hurt. I always do research before buying a phone, and the number one question I ask myself is... #1) Will it Work? if the answer is no, I obviously don't buy it. If it's maybe.. then maybe I buy it. Oh well... |
