Well, Fusionone finally released it's version of synching software for the Brew phones, MightyPhone. This is an internet based app which will work with MS Outlook or Lotus Notes. http://www.mightyphone.com/index.php
You can get a 10 synch trial through GIN (Get It Now). I'm trying it out... just like VZW Wireless Synch Mail, there are some options that do not transfer, e.g., while Notes and Tasks transfer from Outlook to Mighty Phone... they do not transfer to Notes field on the phone (and there is no Tasks on phone). So in essence, you only have Contacts and Calendar info transfering both ways.
A Calendar appointment does have a note field which is neat and does transfer to phone.
Not bad for $2.99 a month, but wish there was more.

If any of you folks are trying the 10 day/synch trial... please post your opinions here. Looking forward to hear what other folks think of this app at this price.

I tried it, it says the V isn't compatible for E-mail just for Calendar updates !? Whats the point then. Maybe I did something wrong, but I checked they're FAQ's and the V isn't supported.

I am going to assume that the data on the website is incorrect and not updated. The reality of being able to access it via Get It Now, and the fact that I am using it now, demonstrates it is real, and works for the "V."
No it does not do email. My only comment about any email, was just the comparison to VZW's Wireless Synch (which does email). So I use Email Executive for that.
What Mighty Phones does do for the "V":- Synch PIM contacts with phone (you can choose which ones)
- View your other contacts that are in your PIM that are NOT on your phone
- A more full featured calendaring function, with notes
- A backup of all your important data "phone numbers" in case your phone dies.
What the phone lacks are Tasks.
Again, the "V" is NOT a PDA or Smart Phone, but for it's limited capabilities, this app may show promise.

I tried it and it was alright. But, what I want is the calendar to sync to the phones calendar program. I dont want to go to the get it now thing to look at my calendar.
why the hell does my job insist on lotus
