So anyways i have all my contact information on my simcard right.. and I just transfered all the numbers to my phone.. So now its on both sim and phone.. but when I look through my phone book it displays duplicate phone numbers.. any of you guys figure out how to block the duplicate numbers in this situation?

I want to know this too.

I know you can assign the numbers to a group and then display the group, but you have to reset it when you turn off the phone.

Duplicate Entries (SIM and Phonebook)

You have two options: Either delete all SIM contacts or assign your phonebook entries to a 'Category' other than 'General' (SIM contacts are stored under 'General'). Then in the phonebook menu select to view only the category you assigned them to.

Note: If you restart the phone it defaults back to 'General'

to do this, do i have to manually type in each number again by hand?!

just keep all the numbers on the sim, no need to copy it to the phone at all
