hello, i recently bought an E815m. my problem is, that except its weak vibrator rate it has tons of small annoying bugs + voice command doesn't work at all.

i wanted to know if every provider has its own firmware update and is it possible to make update even though i'm from israeli(i don't think the local provider is gonna make an update any time soon).

each wireless provider does have its own "customized" firmware... sorry...

Now, that being said... Verizon users have been able to flash phones with Alltel firmware and spend time hacking and making some of the verizon specific features (like text messaging, mobile web, get-it-now, etc..) working again... BUT its a pain, and took time to figure out...

ok, thanks for the info...i've got another question though...

is it possible to make the phone's speaker louder and fix the weak vibrator without flashing it?

Nope. None that I am aware of.

The CDMA phones don't have an editable gain table like the GSM phones do.. so that leaves out the speaker volume...

and the code that controls the vibrator has not been found to try and play with it..
