IMPORTANT:
Please provide the full registration details below, in order for us to activate your dongle:
1.) JAF Serial Number (S/N)
2.) Name of Original Reseller
3.) Date of purchase

WARNING:
If you provide us with the wrong registration details, and the pkey does not get activated due to wrong information provide by you, we will not be held responsible. If this happen, you will have to purchase another PKey.

User(s) CAN NOT:
- Use P-Key with a clone J.A.F.
- Order P-Key update for one J.A.F. serial from 2 or more resellers at the same time
- Use 1 P-Key with more than 1 J.A.F. box
- Get P-Key update dongle in advantage without providing J.A.F. Serial Number
- Get P-Key dongle without payment
- Get P-Key for a blacklisted box due Credit Card Charge Back
- Get used J.A.F. without P-Key after June 7, 2006.

J.A.F. P-Key Installation/Activation Tutorial:
- Go to: http://www.files.odeon.cn
- Download: PKey-driver.rar
- Install Driver_setup_English and restart your computer
- After restart, connect the P-Key dongle to your computer. Windows will automatically install the drivers for the dongle.
- Once the drivers are installed you will get the “New device is installed and ready to use” popup message
- Contact your reseller and give him P-KEY and J.A.F. box ID to activate your P-KEY in order to be able to make update
- Make sure that your P-Key dongle is connected along with your J.A.F. Box
-Open JAF software version 1.95 beta 9 (Software should show your P-Key Serial Number)
- Now you will need to “Update P-Key”
When the update is completed, you will see the message “JAF Dongle init complete”
- Restart the JAF Software and you will see the “Update Firmware” button now active
- Click “Update Firmware” and the software will display “Warning ! This update will make your JAF BOX working only with P-key. You can use the box with older versions, are you sure???" message box.
- Click “YES”
- The server will update the box firmware; wait until you see the message " Updating FW Step 2...Please wait...DONE ! "
- Restart JAF Software version 1.95 beta 9 and from now on you can use the new updates offered by the ODEON TEAM by using the new PKEY dongle.

What is P-Key?
P-Key is the new smart card based protection used for JAF.

What have P-Key have in common with JAFWM?
NOTHING. P-Key is a dongle protection used by JAF team for 2 different products from JAF team. (jaf and jafwm). It is also NOT POSSIBLE for customers with JAFWM to update it to PKEY for JAF or vice versa.

Do I really need to buy P-Key for my JAF box?
We do not force any one buy it, but every one should understand that also we have to improve our protection and this costs money for all of us. So, if you want also use your JAF with higher versions as 1.95 beta, you must buy it, if you are happy with your JAF box and all software versions released until version 1..95beta1, than you no need buy it.
