How do you get rid of the operator logo?

I have an unlocked Nokia 8290 (Cingular) that I'm currently using with my T-Mobile account.
The phone works fine but the screen says PACBELL which I find very annoying.
How do I get rid of this? How can I change it to a picture or something?
