Flashing/Unlocking the Razr V3M

Perhaps I have just simply missed it but I have been looking for directions on how to either flash the V3m with the Alltel software and get it working on VZW's network, or how to simply unlock the phone and possibly remove Verizon's navigation software. I am considering upgrading from an E815 to the V3m and staying with Verizon or going to Cingular and getting the V3i when they come to the states because I am tired of VZW crippling their phones.
Edit: One other question... does anyone know if the old trick of taking an MP3 from the transflash, sending it to a bogus number then downloading it back to the phone still works to create your own MP3 ring tones?
