Text Message Memory Full

Ok this is annoying. First off, the Auto cleanup funtion does nothing. So I must manually cleanup messages when the "Message memory" is full. Is there a solution to this to either fix the auto cleanup feature or to store my messages somewhere else (i.e. phone memory, microSD card memory)? Will a special seem edit help me? Please help. Thanks

Have you tried putting your auto cleanup interval to something low, then using "cleanup now" when it gets full?

Yes I did. Cleanup now erases ALL in inbox/outbox/or Both. Either way the auto clean up still doesn't do what its supposed to. Please help

now you can choose where to store your incoming txt msgs.
then go to:
msg/menu/inbox setup/text msg setup/store to (phone-Sim)

tested either with B4.85R and B5.10R and various flexes.
cheers

You should be able to select Phone or SIM memory already, without the seem edit. I know I can do that on my PEBL, it holds about 50 with it being stored to phone memory.

Yes, it works in that I can save almost 100 msg now. But after that it still tells me Message Memory Full and I get icon on screen of envelope with minus sign. It still lets me send/recieve but that ugly icon doesnt go away. Is there a way to get rid of it?
