okay, new to the panasonic world so i need some help. i really LOVE the flip phones where theres the button u press and it flips the phone open. i realized there are many many styles of these types of phones and was wondering which one was the best? best specs, best price, u know, what a good phone needs. thanks!

VS3 if your budget is tight. Otherwise the VS7's external screen is pretty nice.

An X800 is quite cool too if you can get one (but you give up the nicer screens found on the other two).

VS7 its pretty cheap nowadays

I found that the vs3 was an amazing phone but 2 major issues: call volume is extraordinarily low and no external caller id screen. Those are really must haves for any phone. The VS7 has external screena nd i have been told its a tad bit ouder.

if your thinking about pics avoid the VS series phones, the pics come out with wierd pink hues in natural lighting conditions.

^^^ mines doesnt.. my vs7 takes perfectly fine pictures.. its decent for a 2mp camera but not that great compared to other ones like from SE. i have a vs7 for sale $250 gta =)

I had a vs2 for a while and loved it. the screen is fantastic. big, crisp, and bright. the camera worked fine for me. If you're looking for a basic phone that looks great and is alot cooler than a f'n motorola or nokia, a panasonic vs is the perfect choice.

And if you're like me and NEED symbian...an X800 is a perfect choice too. I had a nokia 3650 before hand, and upgraded to this after at least 2 years...big difference. Screen is amazing, camera is reasonable for a vga, and software load time isn't too bad either. But yeah, if I didn't need symbian I would definately go with a vs7...as a matter of fact...I might just save up a couple of bucks, sell my nokia 3650, 6800, 3390, and get a vs7 too
