Here's how to do it,
lesson 101

Download Send to Phone
install it...wow hope you can figure that one out!!!
open your folder where your ringtones are and chose tools and then folder options.....
UNCHECK hide extensions for known file types and then click OK.

Now change the mp3 or whatever it may be to .mid and it will ask you if you really want to change the damn file, SAY YES....

Now take that file that you just changed and drag it to Send to Phone and it will open up and ask you what phone and phone number, and Now just send it but DO NOT close out of the program UNTIL you have recieved the file otherwise your starting over again.

Now this isn't 100% FREE but it's a start, I know with Verizon it uses PIC MESSAGING so please watch for that on your bill if you start to do this and don't have that.

Please update me if you find another way without ****ing up your phone.

Does this work for anyone? Once it is on my phone it will not play.

you can also save them as *.acc files, i did this using the pic messaging and it works fine.
