Originally posted by cc1234321 No...not just the name.. I like it for its styling (350z looks a bit too small) and balance between performance and comfort.

Originally posted by mawti Not just the name? Then why did you feel the need to mention the G35 is also called the "Skyline" as a advantage? |

That car is very nice! I know a guy who has a yellow H2...and it is very impressive and it looks way better in person! But i dont really like the yellow one...i would choose the black one!
i wouldnt mind driving a 3-series......
a coupe version!...with 250bhp (10bhp more than previous models) and a 2.2l instead of 2.0l!

Originally posted by mawti Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from you. mawti: Hey Sharpy, I'm looking to buy a new car. Can you tell me some good features about your car? SharpST77: Sure. It's called a Skyline. ![]() mawti: um ya, thats nice. but how bout some features? SharpST77: Not many people know it's called a Skyline! ![]() mawti: Ya, I know. What else? SharpST77: Skylines kick ass! ![]() mawti: um...ok. |

Originally posted by Shawn_230 I think what he meant was that it's a legendary name, not that it makes the car any better. It's like how Mustang and Corvette are legendary names. For example, between 350Z and G35, I'd choose 350Z. One of the reasons, not the most important reason tho, would be that it's a Z car. There's just something about names likes these, you know. Shawn

" at the end of all your posts. Yes I know its a nice trademark and adds a personal touch but it really makes it hard for someone to get the tone of what you are saying. If I was some newbie that didn't know you did that with every post, I would never take your post seriously.)

Originally posted by mawti I've read what you said Shawn and I feel that rexdale's comments were totally justified, given the ambiguity in your statments. You first said that "legendary names" are just that--names. And that they mean nothing. Then you say: What is this "something"? No I don't know. You must explain it to me since you first said there is nothing and now there is "something". |
. Maybe I'll hold a poll and ask if people are ever confused.

Originally posted by Shawn_230 Well you know how people say "there's just something about...", and what they mean is that it's special or something. I don't think my post was ambiguous at all, I said "not that it makes the car any better", which pretty much says what rexdale said, it doesn't make the car any better. Shawn
