6682 rf

Hey is it me or does the 6682 not perform as well as other nokias, ie: was at a recital for my niece, my sister has w600, and my nephew has nokia 6102, both had signal while my 6682 showed no bars at all, i had to do a manual search to get a signal each time, and ive noticed phones that i used to have have a stronger signal in areas, where the 6682 loses signal, wondering if its my 6682, i already have an exchange comming.

I'm assuming everybody is using the same service provider?

My 6682 has the reverse performance...I'm getting the best RF reception of any phone I've owned in the past - Nokia, SE, Samsung or Moto.
Got the latest firmware version?

I have had the 6682 since January and the rf has been as good, if not better than any phone I have ever owned.

my 6682 performs in my school's weight room which is in a basement and my place to test which phones perform the best.

only other phone to get reception down there was my 6230 and a friends s710a and i still think my 6682 gets better RF

phones tested: razr, v551, nokia 3120, nokia 6230, nokia 6620, nokia 6682, SE w600i, SE s710a, samsung e317, samsung c207, siemens m56

my friend uses Tmobile and I let him borrow my unlocked 6682. He says its the first time he can make a call in his house.

now that's power...as for my case...i told him to switch to cingular haha

Net Monitor on my 3.01.1 6682 showed it got slightly worse reception than my 6230, but still very good. I think it did a better job with clarity of calls with poor signal, however. The 6230 would let show some usable service in places where the 6682 wouldn't, however. The difference is minor.
