anyway to copy a saved voicemail message and send it to my pc via usb or email? almost positive it cannot be done due to legality issues or somthing but if anyone has done or knows how to do it, it would be very helpful

voicemail is not stored on the phone, you basically hear it when calling a central number, which is your voicemail retreival number, if you have an answering machine, you can use it to record your messages when listening to it, same with a tape recorder and a $5 wire you can buy at radio shack (The Source.. ByCircuit City)

Hello, I am somewhat of an audio expert so i think i can help. This is only if you have a headphone looking type port on your phone. Buy a 2.5 - 3.5mm STEREO adaptor and an audio dubbing cable (3.5 mm) This is bascially a cable with a headphone plug on both ends. Plug your adapter into your phone then plug the dubbing cable into that. Take the other end of your dubbing cable and plug that into your "line in" plug or the blue plug on your soundcard. Click Start>>All Porgrams>>Accessories>>Entertainment>>Volume Control. Click on options>>properties. Then put the little bubble into the recording box and click okay. Your volume control will change a little (shorter) check the line in box. Download something like audacity and call the number. In audacity while calling the number press record and it will record the call. You can then use the program to cut the messages up and clean them up a little (noise reduction). This is not legal though, you are required to tell the person before you keep a record. Sorry to break it to you but there is no way to record the call via USB. Good luck!

why dont you just use your computer's modem to record? its much easier, my computer modem has a headset jack on the end, cus its a voice/fax modem. i used a program that came with the modem called bitwave and it recorded my telephone conversation into a wave file, so just make the program call your cell phone voice answering line,

Assuming you phone has a usb port that puts out audio then yes. You then plug that into your tape recorder and record the call to your voicemail. If you want digital connect it to your computer and record the call with audacity. Good Luck!
