Problems w/ new media bundles...

I've had several customers either call me or come back into the store b/c they were unable to send and receive txt msgs after adding the *NEW* media bundles. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? I referred them all to tech support and tech was able to resolve the issue.

So has anyone else experienced this??

Its not provisioning in the MIND is what i've heard so tech would have to fix it since CSR's have crippled access to snooper anymore.

How about not being able to add the new features to *any* migrated account? I don't mean converted, still blue accounts, but migrated, now orange accounts. I'm in a former blue store so some of our customers are either migrating or are migrated and right now we cannot attach the new messaging or bundle plans. OPUS, POS, or CARE cannot do it. Makes me mad since we are supposed to sell data to sell the phones at $20 less. Sheesh...

I'm sure the probs will be resolved fairly shortly - I noticed some provisioning errors with the new BB codes that launched a month or so ago.

i was having this problem in OPUS monday but it was fixed yesterday. As far as the texting not working I just had my customer turn their phone(s) off, i took the feature off, put it back on (being that this was my customer originally, this was ok ) and then had them turn their phones right back on then it worked. Usually that's how CS or tech support fixes the problem anyway.....

yeah we had this problem. its global. should be fixed by thursday. really sucks if you are adding to a existing grandfathered family plan though

I had a few problems but you can skip them by switching to telegence.

I've had several today that did that, a couple of customer who is old media bundles to yesterday came back inquiring about why their text messaging stopped working. I made sure to check all the ones I sold today before they left the store.

Just call tech support, they can push it through to make it work. It's a global issue that should be fixed tonight I was told.


oh...and I'm in a care market and do have access to it...but it doesn't seem to help the issue

i am able to send messages, but this afternoon i changed my plan to the media max 1000 and since a little bit after i do not have the E icon on my task bar and cannot connect to the media net site on my phone. when i try and connect i keep getting a message after its says "connecting to cingular gprs"

"dialed: wap.cingular
no modem at above number. to check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings."

so i cannot use the edge/eprs network. not sure what happened. i tried a soft reset on my phone but that didnt help. should i call CS or just wait until tomorrow if it fixes it on its own?


EDIT: scratch that, i was able to send the text message (at least the notification came up) but my friend never got the message so looks like i cant send txt either, hopefully this is resolved tomorrow...

I swear, we need to be given full access in snooper. I get pissed when I can the problem and all I have to do is click click click but no, I gotta call tier 2.

I remember they had a tech team at our call center for a while where I was a part of. It was great cuz he calls were easy but they still didn't unrestrict snooper... not much of a tech team, huh?

I talked IT into giving me telegence access, are you a COR rep or an indirect? As far as I know Managers can also get telegence access, and you can easily just use theirs and type in your comp codes.

When I added the basic media bundle I had the same problem. CS fixed it and said it wasn't provisioned correctly.

I got a login for telegance but every time I tried to access it, it said I was banned
