Moto E815 outer screen problem

Hello all,

First off, I'd like to say hello and thank you to all of you that have provided help to me in the past. You guys are a awsome bunch of people.

OK, Here is my question: Today I niticed that the outer screen on my E815 had the time listed on it and at the bottom the image was repeated. Anyway, I turned off the phone and then turned it back on and now the outer screen displays nothing. It appears that there is power to the screen (no idea how to explain that) but there is nothing there, no time, no picture, no nothing. I have tried turning the phone on and off several times with no luck. I do not have any of that fancy equipment like a USB cord or the tools program, but I was just wondering if any of you have run into this problem and know how to fix it. I really like this phone and I would really rather not take it in for an exchange because we all know that I would end up with a used referbed phone. BUt I really do miss the outer screen.

Those refrubs sometimes can be just as good my v265 i had was awesome was better than the other two i returned .
