I copied a few skins to my phone (via p2k commander) and when i tried to delite it,i only could remove the files within the skin file (all the dat and ski files), but not the file itself!so now i have three empty skins enlisted in my phone!p2k commander dont show them but they are in the phone?
How to erase them?

Sorry can't help you here

Try using Moto4Lin CVS (file manager). Its a pretty powerful tool and will probably help you delete the root file folders for the skins you're trying to delete. Google for it.

i used p2k tools and right clicked on the folder>delete> its gone.

If I have problems with files manipulation using P2K Commander (my primary file manager because it can create directories), I switch to Moto4Lin because it presents a hierarchial view of all the directories and subdirectories on the handset just like Windows Explorer. But P2K Tools certainly can get the job done in many cases I guess the trick is to use the tools you're comfortable with to accomplish your objectives.

Thanx for the feedback.

I use BitPim to take care of problems like that on my e816.

Hey Ccossin, I'm desperately trying to connect to Bitpim with my e816. I just got it and am racking my eyes trying to read on the how to's. Man send me to the link. Please.

The best way to work with skins is with the program called skinmanager. look for it under wiki. It will delete, install etc.
