Hi everyone. I have several Nokias but just got this little 6680 and was wondering if I could (I'm guessing I can) use the 6682 setup from T-Mobile to auto configure the t-zones, text message, etc.

Is this right?

Thanks Angel. That's what happens when I type too fast. 6680 it is supposed to be, obviously.

I'm on T-Mobile and I really want to get an unlocked Nokia 6682 but am concerned with 3 things:

1. Will I be able to add the $5.99 web plan or will I only have the full-blown Internet option since it is technically a smartphone?

2. Does the 6682 have built-in AIM?

3. I have unlimited text - If it has AIM, will it use text messaging or count as GPRS time?

Thanks for any help in advance!

The 6680 and 6682 are relatively the same model (82 not dual cam and uses EDGE (United States) vs. 3G (Rest of the world, haha)...of course 6680 works fine for me here in Washington DC.

You will be able to use the $5.99 web package from T-Mobile just fine (even with viewing real webpages with Opera browser)..So that's the first hurdle.

As far as AIM, I'm not sure but you could download it for free from AOL so that's not an issue.

And as far as I can recall, AIM on T-Mobile is billed as text messages. I may be wrong and someone will correct me if they know better.

Good luck.
