Can someone please tell me how i can set a PAN connection through my PC's internet connection (via bluetooth) so i can browse internet on my M600i? I cant seem to set it right... Anyone that knows please?

I used to do it on my P800 by pairing my p800 with my computer, then right click bluetooth in the task manager then quick conect blue tooh serial port and it worked.

Have not yet tried it with my m600i.

I'm giving it a go on my PowerBook with no success. I've tried running a script called Share2Blu2th... to no avail.

I must be missing something... which isn't obvious (since I've already got the account priorities straight and such).

I'm in the same boat, Indighost. Powerbook, M600i, Share2Blue2th, NO success.

I hope someone will be able to figure this out soon.

Indighost, what settings did you try on the phone in terms of account setup? Data, bluetooth PAN, bluetooth local?? Should we be messing with IP config in the detailed settings of these types of accounts to get this working?

I'm just going on BT PAN. When connecting, it searches for BT devices, and shows my PowerBook. I mark the box, go forward, and nothing happens when I try to open a page other than the status bar flashing 'connecting' for a split second and then disappearing.

How do you initiate a serial port connection over BT with OS X? The only way I can muster is to click "browse device". It seems like you can't initiate a serial port connection from the phone.

If only the System Prefs 'Sharing' pane, in the 'Internet' section, had an option to share your internet connection via bluetooth. Ethernet, Airport, and even FireWire are there.

on osx there is... share your internet passing thru (airport, internal modem, builtin-ethernet, bluetooth, built-in firewall)

BUT there is NO internet sharing via bt..
