Will editing the gain table increase headphone volume?

Simply put, the SLVR is horrible when it comes to loud headphone volume. My IPOD blows it out of the water. I use it for motorcycle riding, so a loud headphone is a must.

Will editing the gain table allow me to increase headphone volume or just external speaker volume?

Keep in mind that raising the volume to loud will blow out the speaker.

recommended settings are anything below 4, although you can try 5. I have my earpiece set to 6, ringtone speaker set to 4, speakerphone volume set to 3, keypad volume set to 8.

Really? Below 5? My maximum is 5. I dont use any keypad volume since its a waste of attery and don't need any sounds in texting or doing anything on my phone.

Also should I always wear my battery out to totally EMPTY? I just want to preserve my battery.

I finally got the p2k drivers installed...finally. I just upped everything a little, but the only thing I really want louder is the earbuds for listening to music while I mow. I put that at 4, and did a check on the rider. Still to low. If I upped that to like 6, could that hurt anything. Don't say ear drum either...lol. It wouldn't be louder in any other speaker(s) right? Just want to check before I hurt myself...thanks.
