How do I ger MP3's/images on/off my Razr via USB?

Hey everyone.

First off, NEWBIE ALERT. So bear with me if any questons seem dumb or "old".

I just purchased a Blu Motorola V3 Razr and am looking to get some photos/videos I took off the phone, onto my computer and vice-versa. I'm also looking to download an MP3 clip onto my phone to use as a ringtone.

I have Mobile Phone Tools 3, but when I launch it (& hook up the Razr using the USB), it doesn't seem to recognize the phone. When I get to the 2nd screen (the phone), the little phone screen just says "initialing..." and stays there. I've tried going through some options, but I can't manipulate the side of the screen that should be my phone.

What am I doing wrong?

did you install the drivers for the phone ? plus if you have Verizon (like me) you also need to seem edit before being able to transfer files.

Drivers as stated. Also mobile phone tools does take a bit of time to initialise sometimes.

Also have you selected how to connect it when mpt starts for the first time?

maybe remove mobile phone tools and all drivers, then install them as you go along. eg mpt first, then the phone drivers when it asks for them on start up.

you can register for free on motomodders.net They have free software to allow you to seem edit, transfer ringtones/wallpaper/games to your phone as well as update the firmware or upload monsterpacks.
