Which brand is most known for good long lasting batteries?

Actually, the longest-lasting battery I've seen was on my LG-LP3700. But I think you can only get and use this phone in Korea...
On the other hand, a new Nokia phone might take the cake. From their press release:
Nokia 1110i: latest addition to range of phones aimed at first time users
Nokia 1110i emphasizes ease-of-use, reliability and affordability and the intuitive, black and white user interface makes full use of graphical icons and large font sizes. The Nokia 1110i also has a number of cost management features, including support for the Nokia Prepaid Tracker to help people monitor their phone usage, as well as other technological features which reduce the total cost of mobile ownership for consumers.
Weighing 80 grams, the Nokia 1110i has a talk time of up to over 5 hours and a standby time of up to 15 days. The estimated retail price of Nokia 1110i, before subsidies or taxes, is expected to be €45.

SE.
li-polimer batterys are the best. i have had nokias and siemens and motos and the SE last the longest.

Sony Ericsson. They are also the most accurate/reliable. Just go to phone status and it will tell you the percent left and that is accurate.

From what Ive used, SE's and Moto's are about the same.

SE period!!

well SE's li-polymer batteries are generally considered the best.
but in the end, sony probably makes most of the batteries on the market anyways.
what makes the difference is not the brand of battery, but the capacity and battery optimizing software.
most phones are fairly similar with respect to capacity in each class, however SE's battery optimization is by far the strictest and most efficient.
example:
SE's have no backlight timer option or screensaver timer option either, whereas most other brands do.

From using Samsung, Nokia, SE...(d600, N80, K800...respectively), I have to say I believe SE so far has the better battery life, at least I don't have to worry about charging it before I go to bed.
