Can the phone be opened when it's still on the holster?

Are any holsters that allow this?

Cell Crew uses a generic picture for the holster. If you look up a holster for the 4900 you will see it is the same pic. I don't have it personally, but I'm just letting you know it prob won't look like the pic. I do have the Sanyo holster, it won't allow you to open the phone while in the holster.

I can understand why you would want a holster like this, as it would make it convenient to just open the flip and see who's calling. However, they also can be dangerous. I had one like it for a while with my 5150 and it never failed, I'd catch it on something and about break the top half off. I'd catch it on a doorway, corner of a countertop, desk chair, or something like that. So I'm sure they are out there, but be aware of that risk. I was able to find mine of ebay but I returned it and got one from Sanyo. I like it much better. It is even big enough to hold the extended battery.

actually, I like this holster (at least how it looks like in the pic) because it is very low profile. I still own the Motorola P8167 Timeport, and I just love the holster that came with it (which looks just like the sanyo one we're looking at). I'm not into leather cases. I just want something small, and that allows opening the phone while still on the holster.
