I'm thinking of getting something flashy, like a flashing keypad with one of those clear so called "nokia" faceplates. I heard the facepleates were 99% like OEM so i wouldn't mind having one even if it's not original. However do you guys have an opinion on flashing keypads? of course i want it in one colour only.

umm I had a flashing keypad for my nokia 8310... didn't work out for meh! it was WAYYYY 2 bright on a clear face plate! lolz... second of all after adding the flashing keypads, ur buttons are MUCH harder to press! third, it kind of screwed up one of my battery terminals on my fone when i put it in.. damn... kind of bent it.. maybe i put it in wrong, or it was design bad.. but whatever! lolz!

mmm thanks for the heads up...I guess i will look for it in a store where i can actually see it instead of ordeing it through the net.

Just get your leds professinoally changed

That will void the warranty. That is something that you do after your warranty is up like what I did recently to my 8290. The flashing keypad does not do that to your phone plus Nokia doe not need to know that you did that.
