I just bought the Sanyo SCP-5300. Love It!!!!!

One question. I noticed the #5 button is recessed on mine. Are they all like this, or is something wrong with the button?

I would appreciate any feedback.

i think its all like that.. cuz #5 is the center of the key pad.. its easier for people to find or "feel" the keys...

Yeah, mine is like that too, and on previous handsets, I've had ; there is always something different in the texture of the " 5 " button...

well of course... but i wish there was something i could add to the keys to give all of them more texture as to make it easier to type T9 without looking at the keys. I could fly on my 4900 because it was all about feel. Any ideas?

I also noticed the backlight isn't as bright as my 5150. Does anyone else notice this? Is there a fix to it?

P.S. This is the coolest phone I have had!!!!

From what I remember, the 5150 (like you said) was brighter. Nope, nothing you can do....no settings can change this. I did read about a kit that you can buy on ebay and makes the keys a different color/much brighter. Unfortunate thing is that is (obviously) voids your warranty...

That's the only other idea that I see to correct this "problem" -- but the reality is that I'm used to it...it's not that dim
