The Volume on the headset speaker (not speakerphone which works completely fine) is severly low. It used to be perfect and now all of a sudden its really low. I checked the volume and its on max (7) its a new phone just got it a couple weeks ago. What could be the problem? Should i just go in and get another? Will i have to pay another 50 bucks for the insurance phone?

I have the exact same problem with my V262. Mine is about 1.5 years old and of course is out of warranty. My plan is through Alltel and I can't get any insurance now. This might sound crazy but I found that if I "smack" the top flip part of the phone against my leg or arm the speaker level goes up. Probably a short or something in the phone itself. Anyway, I spoke with the Alltel rep and I was told that I can upgrade in September to another phone. And for what it's worth..she told me that the V262 is probably the worst phone they ever sold with the most problems. Good luck!
