WHATS the best leather case??

so whas the best leather case for our phone (SANYO-5300)the bodygloveone?or sprint? I need one soon for my phone thanks.

note:im very happy with my new phone I used to have the A500 but I had nothing but problems with that phone i think they should come out with a better firmware version.MY SANYO-5300 IS SOLID AS A ROCK!!!!!!!!

I will post my experiences with the ones I have.

1) Sanyo Holster - I give a 6 out of 10. I wish it had a swivel clip or a rotating pager clip. The clip on it causes it to sit too high. There have been several people that complained the phone popped out of the holster. This hasn't happened to me, but I see how it easily could.

2) Sanyo leather case - I give it a 7 out of 10. What I don't like about it is the case is extremely hard to remove from the phone. The plastic seam (joining the leather) on the main screen bothers my face when talking on it. The plastic is also a bit thick which causes a less crisp picture on the screen (I know, stupid but hey, it's my review

) I do like the strap around the antenna. That is why I use it as a holster, w/out the front part of the case. It also has a locking swivel, I'd prefer one that doesn't lock

3) Body Glove Leather Case - I give it a 9 out of 10. The case doesn't bother my face. It fits the phone really well. There is no plastic either over the camera. I like the leather better then the one on the sprint case. I think all in all, it also looks alot better then the sprint case. Swivel clip, non- locking, my preference. It is also a 2 piece design, which I guess would allow you to wear it as a holster like the sprint case. I won't though because there is no strap around the antenna. Hey, it's an expensive phone

4) Body Glove Pouch - I give it a 9 out of 10. Nice and padded, fully protects the phone. Also has a non-locking swivel. Nothing more to add to this.

Now while I do use all of them, I guess my preference would be in the following order

I just got the Body Glove for my 5300 today...I like it alot better than the Sprint store one....My clear case should be here tomorrow but from the comments I have been reading I will be disappointed in the clear case..... Glad I took the 30 minute drive to get one.

Circuit City...my advice is to go on their website and pick stores near you to see which store has them in stock as they are very hard to find in my area.

What's the best case for the 4900? Is there a bodyglove one for it? I bought the one from Sprint and don't like it to well.. The phone goes in from the bottom and it snaps shut. The I bought this sticky thing to stick on your dash from Radio Shack so your phone in the case clips on your dash. It worked in my old car when Ih ad the 4500.. But I got a new car recently and the thing wont stick. I've gone through 3 of them. Any other suggestions on having phone in your car? I bought some mouse pad looking thing also that stuck to my dash and the phone was suppose to stick to it but the 4900 didn't stick. I had to take it back.
But once my case wears out I want a better one.. So the clear cases aren't any good? Thanks, Rose

This what I did on both my phone cases but since I dont wear them on my belt clip it works for me. I got the body glove case and made an a slight cut in the inside of the case and took out the clip button. I then took the the sprint stores magnet mount clip with includes two slim magnet that you can glue to your phone...yuck. I put the slim magnets where the clip used to be and pulled the insulation that I cut back over the magent to protect the phone from being scratched......the mount is on my dash - it holds excellent and works great with a headset.

Also protect from that dreaded drop when you get out the car and forget about the phone being in your lap......

What is the Sprint stores magnet mount kit? Will it work with the case I already have that I got from Sprint? I Just need some better way to hang phone on my dash. These 2.99 things from Radio Shack just wotn stick for me. I may try one more. Took several on my old phone and old car to work. I may go to Circuit City and look at there cases tomorrow. Rose

It looks similar to this but it not quite as big and odd looking http://www.sprintpcsaccessories.com...ry.jsp?prod=497 AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE IT SAYS VECHILE MAGNET MOUNT.....it about a 2 inch by 2 inch magnet plate and it come with 2 thin magnets. Cost $9.99 at the sprint store

Thanks I will go to the Sprint store and check into that. I bought some cheap generic thing at Kroger last night for 4.99 and it broke. It was some cheap thing that you could put on a sticker thing or stick something in your vents where your air and heat come out and It didn't work goog and some little thing with the spring broke. They said I could bring it back if it didn't work. I may ride out to the Sprint store on my way to work.
