Using Smartphone (2125) as BT Modem for Mac??

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has been successful setting up a windows mobile 5 smartphone (in particular the Cingular 2125) as a bluetooth modem for a Mac running OSX Tiger. I've seen some articles mentioning that it can be done, and that you need the correct script, but can't seem to get it working myself. Any help would be appreciated.

that's what i came here 4 too. im on a long arse car trip and want to use my macbook. any1? searching the forums is hard with pie.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Getting ready for a week vacation and want to be able to bring the macbook for some quick web surfing using the 2125. Hopefully someone has a solution.

You could try it with this modem script. It was for the SMT5600 but hopefully it will also work with the 2125

When I was researching setting up my T-Mobile SDA as a bluetooth modem for my PDA, I found a lot of articles regarding setting up a bluetooth modem for Mac OSX.

This Google search should give you a pretty good head start.

This guide helped me connect my MacBook to my 2125 and use it as a BT modem:

The justinblanton link worked for me first time with my 2125 and G4 MDD.
