RAZR V3 flex, help questions

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I've read and read and I'm lost.
I have read the planetmotox.com how-to flash/flex.
Heres the skinny, I have a T-Mobile unlocked RAZR V3 phone.
I currently have/use Cingular, now heres the question.

Will a flex change my phone to work as a Cingular Phone?

I basically want to be able to send pictures, and access the web. I cant do that currently.
All other features of the phone work fine.

If not what 'program' do I use to change my T-mobile phone to Cingular.

Please and thank you.

You don't need to change your firmware/flex, but if you like the Cingular branding, go grab one of the Cingular 'flex' files. My recommendation would be to grab the 42.10R monster pack, then flex with the GSMV3xxCIN01NA065 file.

OR

Keep the software you have, and follow the support instructions on Cingular's website to modify your MMS and Web settings.

Thank you crave for the info but the problem is I dont have "web sessions" available on my phone.
The current flex on my phone is GSMV3xxTMB01NA106

Being a Tmobile branded phone my menus are different.

I guess I try the flex

yes, monster pack it!!!

I used a monster pack on my T-Mobile unlocked v3 which worked great. I just can't access the internet from java apps. Any ideas on how to fix this? It was working before with the T-Mobile branded software. Thanks.

how do I find out which one would work for the v3. I just got one from my sister and I am new to this. What is all of the software I would need to unlock and mod. I have the lastest monster pak from planetmoto, would that work on the regular v3?

Ok, I think I need some help. My RAZR V3 is originally from Cingular. I want to change to T-Mobile. Here is my information:
Boot Loader
07.D0
SW Version: R374_G0E.41.C3R_B

When I put in the sim card from T-Mobile, the phone still says Contact Service Provider.

Please help.

Your phone is locked to T-Mobile. You'll have to take it to be unlocked. Or you could try coaxing the Subsidy unlock code from a T-Mobile CSR but I doubt very much they'd give it to you.

Is cingular and suncom the same company? Do they have the same v3? My v3 comes from suncom. I don't see or hear anything about their razor v3?

Ok guys/gals I have RSD Lite 2.3 and tried to flex my phone.
The problem I am running into is that Windows doesnt recognize my phone.
I did some searching on motomodders and got it figured out .... sorta......

Windows found it, I used RSD and tried to flex it, but half way through windows popped up the "found new device" box again. I thought the phone was toast. I did all I could to get it back up. RSD said the flex failed.

The phone showed boot loader and a bunch of stuff. I thought the phone was dead, but turned it off and back on and it works still as a T-Mobile branded phone.

I read on motomodders that I need RSD to keep the phone from making windows find the driver, but I canr run RSD because windows keeps trying to find the phone?? Im in a catch 22....

Can somebody help
