Unlocked Cingular Brand Slvr L7 isn't getting detected in iTunes

I don't know what else to do but I been trying to get my computer to detect my unlocked cingular brand slvr L7. I'm currently using T-Mobile as my provider.

When I open up iTunes, it won't come up in the source list. Am I doing something wrong? When I plug in the cable, on the phone the itune program comes up and it says do not disconnect. Please help me out, thanks!
