Wow! Thanks for going through all that trouble! Just a question: How are you finding the battery life through regular, everyday usage?

Posted by: kyussisgod

Sorry, I know these questions are probably answered in other threads and reviews, but I'm just wondering about your individual experience with this phone because you've been so hands-on.

Anyway, I was also wondering about call sound quality. How does the earpiece sound? Is it harsh, too loud, too soft, do you hear any "cutting in" when the other person starts to speak? Do they hear you ok?

I know its different for everyone, but do you notice a difference without the analogue on this phone? Would analogue make a difference on sound quality?

I'm wondering because I had the A920 for over a week and I brought it back mainly because of the poor battery performance and the earpiece was brutal. I don't know if I had a lemon (maybe?) but I'm trying to get a feel for this phone to have a comparison. Thanks again!

wow thanks for the pics...the phone looks sweet!! but for some reason i still like my V3c.

I cant make up my mind. I want to get this phone, mostly because of the EVDO. However, I think the V3M is going to have EVDO on it aswell and has expanded memory. But no one knows when Bell will introduce that.

im not eligible for a hardware upgrade so im gonna have to dish out 400 bucks for the phone and it would suck for the v3m to come out in a few months.

tell me about it, I've had my V3c for 2 days now..and if the V3m came out in a few months I'd be dissappointed.

damn looks sweet, battery life is my only concern (every samsung I've owned sucked battery wise). Pictures taken look way better than my V3c.
I doubt the V3m will have evdo, if it does bell better make the v3c evdo (firmware update) also since its the same phone minus expandable memory.

Battery life isn't great. It died this evening, I last charged it Thursday night.
I have been using it alot.

I think if you charge it daily you won't have any problems.

As for sound quality, its hard to say.

The earpiece totally goes loud enough, I usually have to turn it down.

Calling *611 on both phones, the LG seems to have more of a background static. The Samsung has it too, but its much softer.

It seems to get more bars than my LG6200 in the same places. I've never had to rely on analogue so I can't comment on that.

That LG 6200 always has lots of signal bars for some reason. But doing some tests on pico sites, or trying to change programming options like OVLD class, that phone is so terrible. I can't recommend it to anyone.
