Cingular 2125 and streaming internet radio

I am considering the Cingular 2125 as my first Cingular phone, based on the streaming media (mp3,m3u,pls,wma,etc) functionality.

I am planning on using the Cingular Unlimited Data or Smartphone Connect to stream internet radio to my phone, but do not really have one of these phones to test my favorite internet radio sites.

Can those who own a 2125 test the following sites and report back their experiences?

www.somafm.com (Groove salad or Indie Pop rocks)
www.di.fm (try several links, such as the winamp and/or WMA streams for a station such as Trance, or progressive)
www.lounge-radio.com
www.protonradio.com
www.bluemars.org

Please be sure to describe:
1- what stream link you used/tested
2- where, geographically, you are..
3- any pertinent details such as broken links, browser errors, windows media errors, etc.
4- whether you used the default windows media player app, or an add-on program to locate/parse the radio streams..

I *have* scoured these forums for answers to the issue of general internet radio streaming to phones, but none were specific to my needs, so no flames please

I have not ruled out satellite radio as a way to get streaming music, but neither Sirius nor XM have stations that even come close to the diversity and
selection of streaming internet radio.

Thanks in advance to all those 2125 owners willing to be pre-sales testers for me!

Yes, you can play the streaming radio stations and some streaming tv broadcasts.

I have my local stations, some internet, and xm(through a portal) on my 2125.
It helps to have a good signal on the phone and use one of the lower bandwith options<32kbps streams. Make sure you use the urls for wma files.

Thanks for the reply, anorthtexasguy!

There is also a free Sirius solution for the 2125 (WM5 in general, actually). I stream radio quite often as well. I find that XM is far more flakey---it drops out a lot more often---than some of the Internet radio stations one can find.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the Smarphone forum on HoFo will provide a lot more information on the 2125's capabilities---since the forum covers all WM5 Smartphones.
