Prepaid SIM card?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This seem like the best place to post this, since Cingular is a large GSM provider:
Does Cingular (or any GSM providor) sell prepaid SIM cards that will work in any unlocked GSM phone? I have a friend visiting from Europe and she wants to use her phone here without outrageous charges. Prepaid SIMs are all over Europe for travelers from the US, but is there an equivalent for the US?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I think I found my answer. The Go phone cards should work in any unlocked GSM phone. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, could a mod move this thread? I just found the prepaid forum.

it wouldn't be a problem

Wirelessly posted (i0wnj00: HTC-8100/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

Go Phone would make more sense for longer stays, but Pay as you go would be better for shorter stays.
