Computer Doesnt See Phone

I recently reformatted my computer and since i did this i have not been able to get my computer to recognize that that phone is plugged in. Is there anything i have to do so that the computer will see the phone. I know how to install the drivers and such. any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to install the USB drivers. XP, if you're using it, won't do that automatically. I can't remember where I picked them up but google 'motorola usb vc3' and you should find it.
