eBay V3i case woes...

Arg, just needed to vent my frustration..
I ordered a silver V3i housing on ebay, and suprise-suprise, it doesnt fit properly. The back and lower housing area fits, but the front faceplate opening that goes over/around the LCD is too small. By .5mm (I have some good digital calipers 
) I kind of missed the look of my original V3 hence I went with a non-standard color, and I made the dumb assumption that these things marked OEM were actually OEM, when in reality, it appears to me a mix of OEM and non-OEM parts.
I dont know what to do, waiting on a response from the seller with the phone disassembled over my desk..may just pick up a cosmic blue case from cnn.cn.
