Treo 650 - Receiving SMS for Email Notifications

I have been using my Treo since last July but have removed my SIM card to use in a different phone over the past two months. Now that i'm back to using my Treo, I started getting SMS notifications for every email I received. This never occurred before and it's annoying the hell out of me that I can't figure out how to shut that feature off. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

yes, forgot to mention that i am on tmobile. sorry about that. although i have been on tmobile for years and i when i used the treo before switching over to mda, i never got sms notifications for emails.

Login to your T-Mobile account online. You could have it set to give email notifications via SMS. Mine did that when I switched to my Treo. I dont know why but it did.
