Using the layers control of theme studio 2/3, add a new layer, make it transparent, and remove the background layer (which is the navipane bar). This makes it transparent. You can import the navi pane bar into illustrator or other svg editor, make the colors 100% transparent and save it back out, this also makes it transparent. Both of these options will look transparent, but when you checkout, the theme will still show the navi bar.
