Well, I was browsing Motorola Korea, and noticed something interesting on the top of the page: a picture of a PEBL. Now, being that there are no GSM networks in South Korea, is this an indication that there is a UMTS or EVDO version of the PEBL is coming?

Not sure, what is coming out for Verizon is the K1c (CDMA 'Canary') and SLVR L7c for Sprint and VZW

Yeah, I am aware of those, although I'll believe a Sprint L7c when I see it.
I just thought it interesting that they had a picture of a phone that at this time is GSM only on the website of a country with no GSM.

bump for more thoughts.

I think it will be awhile before we see a new product from Motorola on Verizon. They are really putting alot of effort into the Q especially since I see commercials every night for it. For high end phones, the next release will most likely be the LG Chocolate on Verizon.

I wouldn't be surprised...it seems to me like Verizon goes through phases where it has one mid-priced phone that is kinda their flagship phone of the moment. It was the Moto V265 not too long ago, recently it's been the LG VX5200, the PEBL seems like it would fit in with that.

I would think they would come out with a phone to replace the v325 since it replaced the v265 and v276 series.
