Motorolas UI although dull and boring is alot simpler and straight forward but like the OP said maybe im just used to it. that being said im not totally dissapointed in D807 it is growing on me and besides i wont be getting rid of my RAZR, i'll be using both so its ok. |

hahahahahahahaa a girl in my office just got a razr and she said for two days now she could not figure out how to change her ringtone. i don't blame her even though i've had motorola before so i could show her quickly. she still has to memorize the steps to get into there. |

i mean to copy and paste a name from sim to phone is a journey itself. don't even get me started with how slow the UI is either. granted symbian for nokia isn't the fastest thing, but it's much faster than moto. |

Feels solid to me, the UI is better and the camera is actually usable. I wasn't expecting the RF to be better than the Razr (which is known to have great RF) and too soon to comment on the earpiece volume (I use bluetooth headset almost exclusively). Don't think at all it has a cheap feel to it. My slider doesn't "wobble" either. |

I happen to like the D807's build quality as well. The huge piece of cool to the touch alloy on the front feels great, as do the front key buttons. The rear is made of plastic, but it is very high quality, much moreso than the cheap garbage Motorola uses on the RAZRs bottom half. |

The reception isnt quite as good as the razrs, but it is a more stable phone. The RAZR to me seemed like tourretts, it would go off anytime and mess up. The D807 however is a great phone. I like it better than any phone I have ever had. Slvr, razr, w600i, 6682 etc.

i think those people who think samsung is still a clunker phone of the past should check this one, along wiht other newer samsungs out. I may look into getting this phone as a weekender phone. |
