Hello,

I'm asking my self if we can mod our SE like as we do in Motorola with seem edit and stuff !
Is it possibile to do ?
If yes, what can we do exactly !

I have the same exact question. I've found nothing thus far. I love my w810, but wish it had the ability to be modded like the Moto phones.

not much in the way of modding for the 810 - the older ones can be using a plug-in
for an app known as FAR.

i just copy the jar's to the other folder then from there i use the phone menu and it asks if I would like to install the games/apps after that i delete the other jars and im done

If you're refereing to changes that CID36 owners can do - You can't with an 810 (yet)
810's are CID49 and the security hasn't been cracked yet.

This would be the music player, thats why Im asking cause there is a mod out I just dont know where to copy it.

@blueshift - simple answer - you can't.
There's no way to access the protected file structures on CID49 series handsets yet.
That mod is for CID36 (some 750's and w800's) phones.

@blueshift - there's a thread on se-nse under technical, firmware, R & D
about FAR and the SEFP plug-in. Watch that and you'll be one of the first to
know when the 810i can be "Really" modded.

Regarding my phone, my SP said they will redo my phone for free, it will take

2 weeks b4 I get it back. So while I wait I need to find out how to remove the vodafone software without messing the OS up so its back to a normal W810i again

davinci or wotanserver - and flash it with a non branded firmware, but it's
chargeable (unlike good old moto flashing :-) )
