P900/910 users - high pitch frequency coming from screen?

Hi, after 2.5 years on my P900, I just noticed that my phone is emitting a very annoying high pitched frequency sound which seems to eminate from the screen or backlight when I put the screen portion closer to my ear.
Can anybody else confirm this? Hope my phone isn't on the blitz or did my hearing just get better?
