Alpha tag on W810i

But you have to pay for their service, but it's actually pretty cheap compared to if you went to Rogers and asked them to unbrand/unlock your phone. Last time I did that I went to Pacific Mall and it cost me nearly $100. Why didn't you just get an unlocked W810i in the first place? Unless you paid $299.99 for the phone with the 2-year term with Rogers then I understand.

There's a way to change what it says on the stand-by screen by using UltraEdit 32. There's a tutorial at Top Sony, but you got to register before you can access the whole site. Don't worry it's totally free, just email the webmaster your prefered username and password and he will get it activated for you. Unless you know how to read spanish or portuguese it won't do you much help. I can't read spanish or portuguese so I don't know how to do it. I even tried using a translator to translate the text but it still doesn't make too much sense. If only someone that can read spanish or portuguese would translate the tutorial to english then that would be really cool.
