Faxing via Bluetooth with SLVR L7 on a Mac problem

Thanks for looking and seeing if you can help me.

I am using a mac (running tiger) and I can't get my phone to fax out.

I set up the bluetooth-modem for faxing off of apple's website.

When I send the fax via the bluetooth modem, my phone connects to the computer, says its dailing the number(does not connect), then immediatly terminates the call and drops the bluetooth connection.

Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix this problem? I'm stuck in a rural area for a week on business, only have access to local dail-up and need to send faxes long distance.

Faxing has been a very touchy subject. In that I mean that it's very, very hard to get it to work because the problem isn't with you getting your phone to connect and dial, but the problem is with T-Mobile because they have to support this feature. They have the support, but it's $9.99 a month, I think, and finding a rep who know how to set it up on your account is like finding a needle in a haystack.
