There is posting of Sharp 905 for sale yes 905 NOT 904

my friend purchased a 905 ( he doesnt know much and he didnt talk to me till after ) from a certin site....

met up and showed him a brand new in box 905 for 700 and was asked to pay full up front and within a week the phone will be avalible...

however this part was weird... the seller said the phone will be unlocked in a week and you can use it in canada If and only if he pays 50 bux extra
so 750 ...
a week later my friend called back the seller. phone # didnt work and there was no trace of the seller ....

he was showed the phone and was asked to pay full up front and within a week the phone will be avalible...

then he came to me and asked me how to unlock then he realised that 905 is W-cdma only (japan)

I'm not sure who has been thru this but i'm sure my buddy wasnt 1st... just watch out pplz

Hmmmm .. I saw an ad on craigslist for a 905sh. Im not sure if its the same guy. Sorry to hear that your friend fell into it.

Sorry to hear about your friend, he should of done more research before putting that type of money for a friend. I don't understand these people that are selling the 905, either they are just fraudster or just pure dum thinking all phones can be used around the world. I see people selling 905 on eBay stating will be unlocked in the future.

exactly and my friend he's totaly nubby on cellphones he's using a K700i and he doesnt know that he had bt -_-"

but yea alot of places assures you taht its going to be unlocked

but at least those ppl got a phone

that hurts man, i can buy another 904 or almost two 705s...if was gonna buy a phone for 750, i would come here and post like hundreds of threads asking for assistance...hahaha

When you spend a lot of money on something, you do your research. There's no excuse for this. The only people that get defrauded are people who usually don't know what they're doing.

I saw some guy on eBay selling 905s in his eBay Store. Maybe it's the same one?

SOrry for your friend, again, these are the lesson that they have to take for live. I am not try to be rude, there are just plenty of cheaters out there, and they need to learn how to protect themselves. 750We did post messages since the first day we saw it on sale.... Well on the other hand, WE who own and walk around with a LOCKED 904s for couple months were not any better than him right tim!

Losing 750 that way really hurts.....ouch!!! I still feel sorry to your co-worker. But i guess some people just have to learn the hard way. azn boi you might want to tell your co-worker to come join us in the Sharp forum, he might become a brighter person and make better decisions next time...

i wouldn't do that unless this guy has a store and make sure this thing happens in a store, i wouldn't even pay full, i would've jsut pay 25% which is more than enough for a 700 bucks phone~~~~

again.... how can your co-worker just trust a person like that!?

he should play diablo 2 then he will really know what the world is like in a marketplace~~ people playing in diablo 2 has all the methods to scam and rip your butt off in any ways that you can't even think of~

yeah.... pretty sketchy of a transaction to say the least.

funny how these ppl are compliaing about a 904 unlock and saying.. the same things about the 902 unlock when itw asn't available..

the phone will be useless suprassed when it does become unlocked. etc. etc.. remember those days kevo.
