Did Cingual EVER carry the treo 600???????

I think so... Actually I am quite sure of it. We just replaced a user's Treo 600 with a 650 at work. Her 600, as I recall, was Cingular-branded.

Yes, they sold the Treo 600 for about a year and a half.

Are you asking if you can use an AT&T branded Treo on Cingular?
The short answer is no, you can't (or rather, "yes" it does matter.)
The AT&T model was locked to the AT&T SIM, therefore it will not accept the Cingular SIM (unless it has already been unlocked by someone else in the past or something.) The only way to get the unlock code is from AT&T which is now Cingular, and Cingular has a policy that they don't give unlock codes for AT&T phones but they will for thier own Cingular branded phones. However you can always call and plea your case. You can call Cingular and beg them, see what they say. Or see if you can get a hold of customer service for former AT&T wireless customers.
But if it were "Carrier subsidy unlocked" (SIM unlocked) then it would work just fine on Cingular. All GSM Treos will work on all GSM carriers just the same if they are unlocked.

You can also look in to software hacks to unlock the phone. But I don't know where to direct you to find one. You can try searching FAQs and forums at these two sites:
