nokia 6255i and diego ringtone question. Simple I hope.

I have an Alltel branded 6255i with the current software version. I used Diego 3.07 to unlock my games and I'm trying to make it where the ringtones can be assigned to each contact. I can use pre-installed ringtones but I have several on my media card that I would like to use as a ringtone for each person. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This question has been asked before, and I believe the answer was that you can assign MP3 ringtones to groups, but not to individual contacts. Dak125 seems to be the resident expert on that.

I have often heard that indevidual ringtones are not selectable on the 6255i phone.

I have to ask what you see when you select a saved contact, select details, select a contact number, select the "option" soft button, and scroll until you see "Custom Tone" and chose select?

From the next screen I can scroll through ring tones, and for this contact select the one I like. So far I have been able to do this for many different contacts. OK, only 5 or 6.

That I can do. I just can't use a downloaded or mp3 ringer for the individual contacts.
