How long does your battery life last on your treo?

Mines only last about 2 days and a half...

ONly? tHta's pretty darn good actually, for a phone like a Treo. I use mine a lot & often keep bluetooth on, so mine is usually down to 60%-50% by 1 am or so. I charge mine every night though, so I dunno exactly how long it would last.

Yeah, I'm down to about 20-30% after a full day(6am - 12am) of BT connection and VeriChat constantly reconnecting. I charge it every night and could care less about not being able to not have to charge it. Its sitting on my desk either way. :P

oh and I forgot to mention- I have the seidio 2400 mah extended battery too! With my normal battery I'd be down to about 30 percent by 1 or 2 am.

is the 2400mah is worth it ?

Yes.

I can go through a heavy usage day without any worries now. This is with the 700p.

Let's see. I watch maybe 1 or 2 full length movies, talk maybe 5 minutes. I hate using a phone to speak with any one. I use the calendar function. I usually get between 5 and 7 days between charges, and that is no lie.

I can go for two days if I barely use the Treo. Over the weekend when I was in Montreal I barely used it and was able to get two days. I've always been used to charging my phones at night, so I rarely let them get down on battery.

I usually get about 3-4 days with heavy calling and heavy bluetooth use and some super light internet usage.

it seems to vary pretty widely, IMO. I usually charge mine everynight, but last night I did not - it had a 60% charge at 11:30, radio/bt/polling/etc. off and it was dead this mornoing at 8:00! Now I go all day with about 60+ total minutes of calls, some light web usage and text messaging and only drain 40% of the battery and then when I go to bed and it is not in use - it drains! I don't understand!

when you are connected to the internet it draind the battery so when your done with the internet go to preferences and go to network and go to disconnect....and the battery will last you at least an extra day or two

Mine varies widely too. I was on AIM for probably 2 or 3 hours last night & it only used like 10% of my battery, but other times, a 20 minute web session will use just as much.

They have extended batteries for these? I assume my batt is the stock one from the box.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0) 16;320x320)

I get a good 2 days and then some with moderate phonecalls, BT on all day, texting and web browsing, standard battery. I have been so impressed with this little bugger :-)

It can vary for me,I can get a day or two or I can get mere hours.I use my treo heavily as a phone and a data device.I do find that the battery lasts me a bit longer if I remember to turn off the BT,and disconnect from the internet, and shut down my email application. However that said,I almost always charge it when I am home or in office,as well as the car, additionally have more than one battery (two OEM,one Mugen extended battery) that I keep charged and often carry.Today,I ran clear through my OEM batteries in maybe 6 or 7 hours-from the time I left my house before the baseball game through the end when I got back in the car with the family-throughout this time however,I had my email application running (and unfortunately was sending some emails during the game) and BT on.

Well I get a good 4 days out of my 2400mAh battery on my Treo 650.

Posted by: vigor21215

stock battery with light internet useage, bt and heavy talking will get me about 1.5 days.

My 650 is less than a week old and i just leave it on bluetoothall the time and it's down to 15-20% in 15 hours! is this normal?

I just got my new Treo and the battery goes down to 50% after a day of barely no usage (bluetooth on all day though). Another Treo I played with (my friend's) would last 4 days with very light usage... I'm wondering if I got a used unit with a bad battery?

Battery life for my 650 was pretty good.
Trip to Santo Domingo, forgot charger, used as normal cell, no BT, turned off versimail autoupdate... ran out of juice 2.5 days later!
Original battery, very few installed 3rd party apps, 512meg card.
So as far as battery life goes, I would give it a big thumbs up.

I noticed that my battery would discharge quickly until it got to 30%, which it stayed at for a very long time. So what I did was discharge the battery completely (played MP3s overnight) and then charged it fully. Now it seems to be discharging at a normal rate (25% in 24 hours of very light usage).
