MP3 Ringtones for V3c

Okay I have been all over this board and I am feeling pretty dumb.. I JUST got a pink razor V3c... Long story in itself... and I have the correct cable to put in ringtones b/c my techie friend helped me get started BUT he's not here now and I want to put ringtones on it so can someone like break it down for me? How do I open up the phone to put tones on it?? When I plugged it in, the "new hardware detected" wizard popped on and it isn't recognizing my phone (surpriiiiiiiise) SO in short basically can someone walk me through it beginning to end? I am not retarded but I also know next to nothing about all of this stuff. OR if there is already a thread that does this can you send me a link because all the other ones kind of skip the step on how to put the MP3's actually ON the phone. THANKS SO MUCH
