E61 Issues: Bluetooth and BlackBerry Connections

I have an E61 with the current firmware and use it in the New York area on Cingular network.

I've had the device for about 3 weeks now and have experienced 2 consistent and repeated faults and wonder if the other owners share my experience.

1. Bluetooth connection dropping headset
- I've tried this with 3 headsets: Jabra JX-10, SE 601a, and the Moto H700; all with the same results
- The connection gets dropped and reconnect on its own on a regular basis
- But then the connection fails permanently after 2-3 hours' of total use and cannot re-establish connection
- The only resolution I've found is to recharge the headset to full battery level and the E61 is then able to re-establish connection
- The issue seems to be related to headset needing full or nearly-full battery charge

2. BlackBerry connection dropping
- Symptom is a flashing network symbol
- Can only make telephone connections, all other data connections hang including SMS
- Only resolution is to put the device in "Offline" mode, and then back to "General" and turn the antenna back on
- This happens several times a day
- I've turned off "Dual Mode" in network and only use GSM in this area

I really like this device, but the reliability in the 2 aforementioned areas lag far behind my less sexy BB 8700, but then the BB device works consistently and flawlessly!

not all e61 owners are having bt problems, but there are also some who are having this problem... i think this is an out-of-the-box bt faillure... there is a batch with a bad bt module or bad bt fw, nokia centers will help solve this problem...
