when i check my voicemail.......i can hear my ringback tone (basically ringing) to reach my voicemail-----then once i hang up i recieve a text message of a water tower and an at sign. i have no experience with unbranded phones and modding...so i need a step-by-step guide

wtf? a water tower? go on....I have heard of the @ sign text message, but not that. In either case, there is a thread somewhere on hofo that says how to fix it for sure...i remember seeing it.

offset 02 - bit 1: BLOCKS THESE FEATURES: Call barring, Call transfer, Info Services, do not read VM number from SIM, Voicemail ^@ text messages, Multi-Line Support, My Network List, Manual Network Search (1 on, 0 off - set to 0 to UNBLOCK these features)
some of these features may be SIM dependant anyway, so activating it on your phone may not actually allow you to use it

umm the techincal name is the delta symbol and an at sign---and can u get it to go away? its really annoying

wow that's pretty messed up. I've never seen that one before. anyway, do you have p2k manager from the motomodders site? if you do , you can extract the seem 0032.0001 from your /a and i can turn that off for you if you want...if you can't do it yourself. but it is pretty simple, if you check out Xlr8's seem editing guide or any other stickys from either the hofo site or motomodders. motox.us also has a few i think.
