Sending SMS to Network notification?

Twice in the past week on my Treo 600 I have gotten the message "SIM has sent a message to the network" - I just have to press OK, and everything seems fine...This doesn't seem related to an SMS queued during times of no service- it looks almost like a service message- Anyone have any ideas what this is? OTA?

The SIM in my Nokia 8890 did that the other day, but it asked me to allow it before it sent. I hit OK and everything went back to normal. It's never happened before or since.
